Edward Sroka Obituary, Death Cause – Edward A. “Ed” Sroka, who resided in Butler, Ohio and was 85 years old at the time of his death on Saturday, July 22, 2023, died away at his home. Both of his parents, Alexander A. Stroka and Clara (Kuzmierczak) Stroka, had passed away before to his birth on April 15, 1938 in Buffalo, New York. He was the son of Alexander A. Stroka and Clara (Kuzmierczak) Stroka. Ed proudly served his country as a soldier in the United States Army. He carried out his duties with honor. He was a regular member of the congregation at First United Methodist Church in Butler and had been for a significant length of time. During his lifetime, Ed was an active member of both the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 170 as well as the Gideons.
Bowling with the Monday Night Armco Duck Pin League and golfing with numerous different leagues at the Stoughton Acres Golf Course were two more sports that he enjoyed taking part in. Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dianna J. (Oswald) Sroka, whom he married on June 6, 1970; two sons, Joseph E. Sroka and Michael S. (Hannah) Sroka, both of Butler; two brothers, Daniel and Alexander Stroka; two sisters, Mrs. John A. (Mary Ann) Trainer and Mrs. Edward (Frances) Surowiec; two grandchildren; and 17 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Stroka. Robert Stroka passed away before him. Both of his parents and his sibling had already died away before he was born. SROKA On Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11 a.m., a memorial service commemorating Ed’s life will be conducted at First United Methodist Church in Butler, which can be found at 200 E. North St. Family and friends of Ed, who went away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, are invited to join the memorial service. Ed passed away.
