Leticia Calderón is a Mexican actress, born on July 15, 1968, in Mexico City. During her childhood she lived in different states of the country, until she settled with her family, at the age of 13, in her hometown, where she was encouraged to participate in a hearing test, which, although she did not win, resulted in a scholarship to study. at the Televisa Artistic Education Center and whose talent allowed her to debut in the soap opera Amalia Batista , at only 14 years old. In 1987, she obtained her first leading role with the soap opera La indomable , which also established her as a television star and helped her form her extensive television career, including her most famous role, the leading role in the soap opera Esmeralda (1997). which made her famous in Europe and Asia. In recent years, she has worked on novels such as Empire of Lies (2020-2021) and El amor invincible (2023).
