The company is once venturing into the more athletic world of pro wrestling that is dominated by cruiser and junior heavyweights. That said, the promotion has brought back its junior heavyweight title.
NWA’s official Twitter account gave fans a first look at the Worlds Junior Heavyweight Championship Belt. The strap is designed by Fandu Belts.
NWA also announced that the winner of the fatal four way match between Darius Lockhart, Austin Aries, Homicide, and Colby Corino at the upcoming Crockett Cup will be crowned the first-ever NWA Worlds Junior Heavyweight Champion.

The NWA Worlds Junior Heavyweight Championship has a rich history that goes back to early forties. The title was introduced in 1945. NWA discontinued the title altogether in 2017. Barrett Brown was the last holder of the title.
