Paul Rudd finally knows about the greatness that is .

Over the years, wrestling fans have come to learn that Orange Cassidy’s character is based on Paul Rudd’s character Andy from the 2001 film Wet Hot American Summer. While that might be common knowledge to some wrestling fans, Paul Rudd had no idea… until now.

Esquire Middle East’s William Mullally recently spoke with Rudd during his press tour for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and he made Rudd aware of the connection.

AEW referee Bryce Remsburg, a longtime friend and Chikara cohort of Orange Cassidy, commented on the reveal, posting the following:
