After reportedly taking a selfie next to the victim’s body and smiling while recording the horrific scene, a TikToker who captured a Canadian dad being fatally stabbed in front of his daughter and fiancée at a Starbucks is receiving criticism.

Alex Bodger shot a sickening video of Paul Stanley Schmidt being attacked outside the Vancouver coffee store Sunday after asking his accused assailant to not to vape in front of his 3-year-old daughter, the Toronto Sun reported.

According to the news source, Bodger, who posts as Gora Pakora on TikTok, appeared to smirk as he recorded the developing episode.

“Bro, this motherf— just passed away. He just died, buddy, holy f—!” he cried out, earning the ire of those who criticized him for profiting from a heinous crime.

Another person commented, “I was honestly speechless by his deeds and words… No feeling period.”

Bodger, however, claimed to Global News that the incident had scarred him.

Bodger told the outlet, “It’s not something you think you would see walking down the street in Vancouver on a Sunday.” “I get this feeling in my chest that is just pure fear every time I think about the situation.”

However, one Twitter user claimed that Bodger also snapped a selfie next to the victim’s body and even went back to the scene the next day to smoke.

Later, the man uploaded a video in which he attempted to justify his actions, claiming that he often smiles in “uncomfortable situations.”

I see a street brawl as I’m walking down the street, so I rush over to intervene. In the video, he can be heard saying, “I started recording and I saw some blood, so I just figured maybe there was a bloody nose or something.

“My mind was preventing me from accepting what was occurring. And even though I knew he was deceased, this was my first time ever experiencing it, so my brain was just like, “He’s dead,” so I started screaming, according to Bodger.

I was thinking, “Holy f—, I’m standing right here screaming he’s dead,” as the murderer was standing directly in front of me. what if he come at me and f— murders me.’ But even as I stand here, I’m in such a state of shock,” he adds.

Bodger continues by explaining the origin of his “controversial” grin.

I was feeling awful. I was unaware of what had just occurred. I always behave in that manner in uncomfortable circumstances, he claims. “I forced a small grin onto my visage. I feel bad for the individuals it enraged.

Strangely continuing, the TikToker says: “Yeah, this s— [the stabbing] doesn’t affect me too much. I’ll just state that human life is meaningless to me if I don’t already know you. He is dead. Now, what can we do?

Inderdeep Singh Gosa, 32, the suspect, was apprehended inside the Starbucks and accused with second-degree murder.

Schmidt’s mother, Kathy Schmidt, claimed to have been informed that the suspect attacked her son after being requested by her son to stop vaping in front of Erica, 3, to do so.

Ashley Umali, the 37-year-old father’s fiancée, was out having drinks when the vicious attack took place, but she saw her partner take his last breaths.
